- Brief Account of the 9th National Cub Camporee:
- The Founder of Scouting Lord Baden Powell formally established Cub Scouting in 1916. Cub Camporee is the largest gathering of Cub Scouts. Cub Camporee is held every four years. Bangladesh Scouts is going to organize the 9th National Cub Camporee on 19-24 January 2020 at National Scout Training Centre, Mouchak, Gazipur. An Organization Committee headed by Mr. Md. Alamgir, Senior Secretary, Election Commission Secretariat was formed to smoothly run the Camporee. Mr. Arshadul Mukaddish, Executive Director, Bangladesh Scouts is functioning as the Member Secretary of the Organizing Committee. Dr. Md. Mozammel Haque Khan, Chief National Commissioner, Bangladesh Scouts and Hon’ble Commissioner (Enquiry), Anti Corruption Commission is the Camporee Chief. To support the Organizing Committee 16 Sub Committees were also formed.

- His Excellency the President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Chief Scout Mr. Md. Abdul Hamid has given his kind consent to inaugurate this auspicious Cub Camporee on 20th January 2020 at 3:00 pm.
