About : 

  • This gorgeous lily flower was brought to light of botanical world by a British Botanist David Don who gave the proper name Lilium Nepalense indicating its origin from Nepal. The plant in nature is 30 cm. to a metre high growing usually on open slopes and margin of oak/laurel forest. It flowers during June to September. In full bloom the flower goes up to 20 cm. in diameter. The plant is wildly distributed all along the country ranging altitudinally from 1,400 to 3,000 metre m.s.l.
